Meet Our Staff

Since 1999, Ms Kelli has been sharing her passion for dance education with students of all ages. For over 25 years, Ms Kelli has trained dancers that have gone on to attend the Governors School for the Arts, Collegiate Level Dance Teams, and more! She  has been the recipient of numerous choreography awards and team recognitions. 

Ms. Sherry is originally from Portsmouth, VA, has a loving husband and three beautiful children. She is the friendly face and voice that greets all visitors and callers to KDX. Ms. Sherry provides phenomenal customer service with a smile and is ready to assist you!

Ms. Jami has been with KDX for 25 years, and her love for dance started when she was just 7 years old. She excelled on a competitive level in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, and hip-hop. Ms. Jami began inspiring other young dancers at 15 years of age, and her passion for dance education is evident in her classroom, and on her students’ faces. As one of the original KDX instructors, Ms. Jami enjoys expanding her dance education by attending conventions and conferences, and most recently visiting New York City for The Pulse Dance Teacher Convention.  

Mr. Duane began dancing Hula at the age of 5 and has not stopped moving since. He has been teaching Hip-Hop in Hampton Roads for the last 15 years and has incorporated all styles of dance to create his routines. Duane enjoys demonstrating diversity and increasing the knowledge and talent base of his students. His choreography was the opening act for Z104's Shaggfest and he has won numerous awards for his unique choreography. Mr Duane is also the director of Art Thru Muvment. A company striving to bring unity to the community! Mr Duane loves spending time with his wife and sons.
